Night Market on the Plaza
Highlighting local and international API-owned businesses, Civil Art presented its first vendor market featuring Little Banchan Shop, Di An Di, Le Mieux / Kizo Lab, Hudson Wilder, NoEnd Denim, and Kickstarter. Night Market on the Plaza expanded the social reach of the Night Market exhibition, promoting API creativity across the industries of design, culinary arts, and academics.
Civil Art invited Eugenie Tsai (Godzilla Member and Former Brooklyn Museum Curator), Sahana Ramakrishnan (Artist), Sumin Park (ELOREA Founder), and Hooni Kim (Chef at Meju, Founder of Little Banchan Shop and Yori Chunsa) to discuss their inspirations and creative philosophies. From curation to cooking, our panelists broadened our understanding of how to introduce our unique cultures to various industries and advocate for greater API and POC representation.
