ABOUT ART HOUSE
Hotel Boutique is part of a series of fundraising events aimed at supporting hyper-emerging API artists in New York by providing equitable access to mentorship, opportunities, and visibility. Proceeds raised through Hotel Boutique directly contributed toward Art House, Civil Art’s incubator program that seeks to build a support system for emerging artists that face uncertainty in their early careers. In an art society driven by “return-on-investment,” Civil Art hopes to provide a platform through Art House to shine light on voices that risk being overlooked.
Art House is created by artists, for artists—with a deep understanding of the challenges, nuances, and perseverance required to build both a dream and a career.

Daytime Market
Civil Art, StillShop, and Ace Hotel hosted a Daytime Market presenting a showcase of artisanal objects and products from local API vendors including home goods, books, glassware, jewelry, fragrances, candles, and more. In this space, vendors and visitors alike exchanged stories and experiences shaped by their multicultural backgrounds. While local vendors and artisans came from varying specialties, the Daytime Market united API artists through their passion of storytelling and creative spirit.
The Hotel Boutique Daytime Market hosted a diverse lineup of local and emerging API vendors including Delfino, Helena Wang, Raum, Maison Mono, DAWANG, Shy Binu, LOUPN, COVRY, The Coming, YRGD, HERHERLIN, Softserve, 1ER, Seree, Hyalos Arts, Scented Stranger, and Civil Art.
Afterparty
The Hotel Boutique Afterparty kickstarted the night with a lively atmosphere that brought together communities of artists, chefs, designers, scholars, patrons, and leaders of New York’s creative industry. As sounds of clinking glasses and contagious laughter filled the air, API creatives took the stage to share their stories of diversity, heritage, and pride.
